Welcome to KCDN

This is KCDN, an Environmental Management, Economic Empowerment and Poverty Eradication Civil Society.

We welcome you to our site. Kindly feel free to share with us your thoughts. Ideas that add value will be appreciated. Ideas that want to make us improve our physical environment will be welcome. And more so, ideas that redirect us from the lost cause will be of immense value.

It is us who will improve the lot of our Environment, our Economy and make Kenya a Clean Country, where People join hands to work for our own Economic Emancipation and where Municipal Solid Waste Management is looked at as a resource, not as waste.

We need to set the standards in this region of the World and become the referral point in how a people can join hands and work for their own Economic Liberation, where waste can be used as raw material and become a source of employment for our people.

Our collective actions will surely make a difference. This is why in partnership with our Key Strategic Partners- The Public Service Transformation Department, the National Environment Management Authority, the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, other key Ministries, the Local Authorities in Kenya, the Provincial Administration, A Better World, Akiba Uhaki Foundation and other Partners, we are moving deliberately in sensitizing and mobilizing Kenyans to work towards A Clean Kenya where waste is separated at source.

And this is why we are inviting Kenyans to join with us in The Clean Kenya Campaign and be a Member of Kimisho Sacco Society Ltd

Welcome.

A Visit to Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences

Friends,
Today in the morning, I made a Courtesy Call on the Principal and Senior Staff Members at the Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences.
The Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences
In the company of Mr. Wycliffe Edgar, we met the Principal Mr. Dennis Oketch, the Administrator Ms Margaret Kang'ethe, the Registrar Mr. Epaphras Ndei and the Dean of Students Ms Olivia Obara.
Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences have been good Partners in The Clean-up and Peace Campaigns. They first joined with us in March 2012 at Umoja when we hosted The World Clean up Day on March 24th.
They also did join with us for The Dandora Human Peace Caravan on the 2nd Feb 2013. And they have indicated to us that they will be part of activities of The Clean Kenya Campaign, for which we say; Thank You.
L-R; Edgar, Ms Kang'ethe, Oto, Mr. Oketch, Mr. Ndei and Ms Obara
We are mobilizing for The Waruku Kangemi Human Peace Caravan scheduled for the 9th Feb and from every point, it will be bigger than all that we have hosted before. Brian and his Team at Waruku have promised some very active participation.
From the IEBC, the Vice Chair Ms Mahiri-Zaja and Dr Joel Mabonga- the Director of Voter Education and Partnerships have both indicated that they will join in with us.
And we really want to appreciate ALL the Peace Actors who have moved from the Hotels to the Trenches. This is where the action is and it is in the trenches that the minds can be changed.
Let us all work for a Clean Kenya, a Clean Africa and a Clean General Election as a Transformative Deliverable as we turn 50 in Kenya.
