Welcome to KCDN

This is KCDN, an Environmental Management, Economic Empowerment and Poverty Eradication Civil Society.

We welcome you to our site. Kindly feel free to share with us your thoughts. Ideas that add value will be appreciated. Ideas that want to make us improve our physical environment will be welcome. And more so, ideas that redirect us from the lost cause will be of immense value.

It is us who will improve the lot of our Environment, our Economy and make Kenya a Clean Country, where People join hands to work for our own Economic Emancipation and where Municipal Solid Waste Management is looked at as a resource, not as waste.

We need to set the standards in this region of the World and become the referral point in how a people can join hands and work for their own Economic Liberation, where waste can be used as raw material and become a source of employment for our people.

Our collective actions will surely make a difference. This is why in partnership with our Key Strategic Partners- The Public Service Transformation Department, the National Environment Management Authority, the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, other key Ministries, the Local Authorities in Kenya, the Provincial Administration, A Better World, Akiba Uhaki Foundation and other Partners, we are moving deliberately in sensitizing and mobilizing Kenyans to work towards A Clean Kenya where waste is separated at source.

And this is why we are inviting Kenyans to join with us in The Clean Kenya Campaign and be a Member of Kimisho Sacco Society Ltd

Welcome.

KCDN Office Support

On 13th June 2009 we held the 2nd Edition of the KCDN Peace Run/Walk.

We are very thankful to all those Friends of KCDN who made it happen. It was a sign that we can come together and work together as one family.

As we were planning the event, we went into rent arrears and now, our landlord who has been good to us has put his foot down. He wants all his money. He thinks that we are in some funding from foreigners. He does not understand that it was a collective effort form people whp care.

I hence want to make this special appeal to all Friends of KCDN to help us pay this bill. The rent inclusive of July is Kshs 53,730.00 and God willing, I want to pay it tomorrow so that we can continue with our programmes.

As you help us pay this bill, it will be gratifying to note that we have taken all measures to ensure that rent does not become an issue to us again. We are inviting Friends of KCDN to come forward and support us some more.

In appreciation of your support, we will post the names of those who will have bailed us out at this hour of our need. All support can be forwarded to the undersigned either through the mobile phones or through Western Union Money Transfer.

As I post this, I have received support from Mr. Lenny Amolo of AIG [Kenya] Ltd Kshs 3,000.00 and Dr Shem Ochuodho Kshs 2,500.00. Some 2 Friends have indicated that they want to help but they want to remain anonymous. We will however post their contributions. Thank you so much for this.

It is always darkest just before dawn.

Blessings,

  1. I like the photo that says "we are not 42 but one". Its one boat and we all drown when it rocks.

Just take time and look at the health business opportunity in my blog. Would be a great way to attain financial independence. Talk to me if you like.
