Welcome to KCDN

This is KCDN, an Environmental Management, Economic Empowerment and Poverty Eradication Civil Society.

We welcome you to our site. Kindly feel free to share with us your thoughts. Ideas that add value will be appreciated. Ideas that want to make us improve our physical environment will be welcome. And more so, ideas that redirect us from the lost cause will be of immense value.

It is us who will improve the lot of our Environment, our Economy and make Kenya a Clean Country, where People join hands to work for our own Economic Emancipation and where Municipal Solid Waste Management is looked at as a resource, not as waste.

We need to set the standards in this region of the World and become the referral point in how a people can join hands and work for their own Economic Liberation, where waste can be used as raw material and become a source of employment for our people.

Our collective actions will surely make a difference. This is why in partnership with our Key Strategic Partners- The Public Service Transformation Department, the National Environment Management Authority, the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, other key Ministries, the Local Authorities in Kenya, the Provincial Administration, A Better World, Akiba Uhaki Foundation and other Partners, we are moving deliberately in sensitizing and mobilizing Kenyans to work towards A Clean Kenya where waste is separated at source.

And this is why we are inviting Kenyans to join with us in The Clean Kenya Campaign and be a Member of Kimisho Sacco Society Ltd

Welcome.

Global Peace, Wildlife Clubs in partnership with KCDN

Dear Friends,
Today is a very good day...very good.

First, A Better World lived true to being our Premium Partners at KCDN. We must now register our public appreciation to the following teams for their continued support;
  1. Akiba Uhaki Foundation
  2. A Better World
  3. Phoenix Aviation Ltd
  4. Green Fingers International.
Secondly, Global Peace Youth Corps- Kenya Chapter did tell us that they will be part of us during the Donholm Clean-up Campaign on the 6th August 2011. We will announce their level of partnership, participation and support.
Thirdly, Wildlife Clubs of Kenya did indicate to us that they will mobilize their Partners and Affiliates across the Country to join in the Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign and that they will give us 300 seedlings to plant during the Donholm Clean-up Campaign on the 6th August 2011 besides their actual participation. They have a Nationwide membership of 8,000 schools.

Fourthly, the DC Embakasi Mr. Peter Mbugi will join the Town Clerk Mr. Philip Kisia to flag off the Donholm Clean-up Campaign at 7.00am at the Naivas Grounds along Outer Ring Road. As usual, our events start at 7.00am on the dot.
Lastly, we will give Kshs 20,000.00 to 4 most deserving children to supplement their school fee. The DEO Embakasi Ms Jane Njuguna is working on the names.
Now, this must be real good news. And we are encouraged that Kenyans are beginning to take charge of their immediate neighbourhoods. We are also happy that the drive we started is gaining ground and acceptance across Kenya.
Ours is just to continue inviting your support, partnership and participation. This is our country and our political, religious, tribal and any other differences must not stand in our way in pursuit of One Kenya as One Family under God.
We are organizing the Donholm Campaign in partnership with Mavuno Church and we are happy to announce that the Catholic Church in Donholm, the PEFA Church, Deliverance Church, the area MP Mr. Ferdinand Waititu, the area Councilor, Ashley College Buru Buru, the ODM Youth 2012 Chairman Mr. Norman Magaya and a host of people will be in attendance.

We are trying to get Dan "Chizi' Aceda to also join us.
As usual, A Clean Kenya Starts With Me. And a Peaceful Kenya is My Responsibility. And those who might want to be of support to us may get in touch with the undersigned.
We are looking forward to creating a partnership that will add value to this campaign with all willing Kenyans.
We at KCDN -www.kcdnkenya.org  firmly believe that we the People of Kenya can help Clean Kenya.
This is a campaign for Kenya by Kenyans. Let us make it big......
If it is to be, it is up to me. A Clean  Kenya  Starts With me. A Peaceful Kenya is my Responsibility.
Disclaimer; The Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign is about us Kenyans. It involves all Kenyans from the various regions, religious persuasions, political thinking and we do not discriminate against any Kenyans nor any region.
