His Worship was accompanied by His Worship the Deputy Mayor Cllr Willingtone Ingachi Khakabo, Chairperson Education, Housing and Social Services Cllr Jamila Uhuru Anjere, Finance Chairman Cllr George Baraza, Town Planing Chairman Cllr Christopher likolokoli Okanga, Administration Officer at the Municipal Council of Kakamega Mr. Ijendi Paul and several leaders.
We want to appreciate Special Needs Empowerment Programme led by Ms juliet Mwaniki who came all the way from Nairobi to join us in this campaign. We also want to appreciate Nakumatt kakamega for sending a team to join us in the Clean-up.
We also want to appreciate the special team from Kisumu- Bafope- Baghdad For Peace, for joining us all the way from Kisumu. This shows that kenyans are beginning to appreciate our messages of hope. This is our country and we must make her clean in all ways.

Lastly, we want to sincerely thank all the people who left their daily chores to be with us at Muliro Gardens. We have just ignited a process in Kakamega, and we were happy with the heavy presence of our Civic Leaders. And none talked about politics.
His Worship the Mayor announced that they will own the process and work with like minded groups to ensure that they have a Clean-up Day every Month in Kakamega. Kazi kweni ndugu na dada.
Let us roll our sleeves and meet at Kileleshwa on the 30th July.
We want to appeal to Kenyans wherever they are to rise up and take responsibility. A Clean Kenya is indeed our Responsibility. If we all joined up in cleaning our neighbourhoods for one hour, Kenya will be a sight worth beholding.

This is a campaign for Kenya by Kenyans. Let us make it big......
If it is to be, it is up to me. A Clean Kenya Starts With me. A Peaceful Kenya is my Responsibility.
