Friends,
Under the umbrella body of the Kenya University Students Organization, Mkenya Daima, PeaceNet, Avenue Health Care, CHF International and other Partners, a Medical Camp cum Peace Rally was hosted at Kibera today.
Mr. Okanga of CHF International briefing Sungu and Oto about the Peace Campaign and Medical Camp in Kibera today
The Clean Kenya Campaign Team was invited by CHF International and we were elated to be part of this Campaign. It also gave us an opportunity to check ourselves out, know our Blood Pressure, Body Temperature and all those other medical issues and seek medical support.
Residents who had been screened waiting for medication
The event was supported by Coca Cola, Mabati Rolling Mills, Bidco oil Company and CHF International among others and was organized by a team that included Migosi Otieno Ombok, Gabriel Achayo and a team from the Universities.
This even was appealing for us at The Clean Kenya Campaign because it advances the 2nd Theme of our Campaign; Peace Building. The good thing is, the peace Building Mission was hinged on Life Saving Mission- the Medical Camp, which had the Avenue Health Care Team taking charge.
I am informed that medication was donated by a host of Pharmaceutical Companies.
This Campaign is the Clean Kenya we all want, and we are happy that The Clean Kenya Campaign will be working with Mkenya Daima, PeaceNet, Kituo Cha Sheria, Kenya University Students Organization, and many more groups as we approach the hosting of the next General Elections and as we celebrate our 50 Years of Independence.
We all believe that a Clean and Peaceful Kenya is possible, and there in no way Elections will be used to create discord amongst us. We are all One Family under God. And we have posted all the other Photos on our Facebook Pages.
Now, look at this Petition and if you are agreeable to its content, sign and help disseminate the same far and wide;
Let us Move From Talking to Tasking as we Stay with the Issues garbage.
