Welcome to KCDN

This is KCDN, an Environmental Management, Economic Empowerment and Poverty Eradication Civil Society.

We welcome you to our site. Kindly feel free to share with us your thoughts. Ideas that add value will be appreciated. Ideas that want to make us improve our physical environment will be welcome. And more so, ideas that redirect us from the lost cause will be of immense value.

It is us who will improve the lot of our Environment, our Economy and make Kenya a Clean Country, where People join hands to work for our own Economic Emancipation and where Municipal Solid Waste Management is looked at as a resource, not as waste.

We need to set the standards in this region of the World and become the referral point in how a people can join hands and work for their own Economic Liberation, where waste can be used as raw material and become a source of employment for our people.

Our collective actions will surely make a difference. This is why in partnership with our Key Strategic Partners- The Public Service Transformation Department, the National Environment Management Authority, the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation,other key Ministries, the Local Authorities in Kenya, the Provincial Administration, A Better World, Akiba Uhaki Foundation and other Partners, we are moving deliberately in sensitizing and mobilizing Kenyans to work towards A Clean Kenya where waste is separated at source.

And this is why we are inviting Kenyans to join with us in The Clean Kenya Campaign and be a Member of Kimisho Sacco Society Ltd

Welcome.

Kenyans for a Clean General Election

Friends,
On the 4th March 2013, the 14.3 million Kenyans who Registered as Voters will be trooping to the ballot boxes to elect our crop of Political Leaders for the next 5 Year Circle. This will be an occasion not to be missed by all who are eligible.
At The Clean Kenya Campaign, and working in partnership with the Public Service Transformation Department, A Better World, Africa Youth Trust, Safe and Friendly Cities for All, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, the Provincial Administration, the City Council of Nairobi and a host of other Partners, we will be launching the Kenyans for a Clean General Election Campaign on the 5th January 2013 at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Huruma.
We all know that we will be electing 6 sets of Leaders namely;
  1. The President
  2. The Member of the National Assembly,
  3. The Senator
  4. The Women County Representative
  5. The Governor and
  6. The Ward Representative
This calls for greater civic education to target Kenyans, especially the elderly voters, and any other voter who might get confused in the process. We all want to work for a Clean General Electioneering, and a Clean General Election to boot, where we all participate as brothers and sisters as One Family under God.
It is with this in mind that we are inviting the IEBC Chair Mr. Issack Hassan, his Team at the Commission, the PC Nairobi Mr. Njoroge Ndirangu and his Team at the Provincial Administration, the Town Clerk at the City Council of Nairobi Mr. Patrick Tom Odongo and his Team at the Council, the Media and all Friends of Kenya, people who believe that we can all work for a Clean General Election, to join with us at the Redeemed Gospel Church at 7.00am as we launch the Kenyans for a Clean General Election Campaign.
We will start by having a General Clean-up along Juja Road at 7.00am, just next to the Church, then recede to the Church Hall at 9.00am for the Official Launch of the Campaign.
All Political Leaders from across the political divide in the greater Starehe Constituency have been invited. I have personally reached out to the TNA and CORD Secretariats to notify their Members.
We want to work for a Clean Kenya as One Family under God. And this is in line with our second and third Pillars at The Clean Kenya Campaign; Peace Building and Good Governance.
This will be our schedules after the Official Launch;

·  5th January 2013; Mathare in Starehe
·  12th January 2013; Kibra in Langata
·  16th January 2013; Kasarani
