Mr. Mabonga, flanked with his Chiefs, officially launch the Kariobangi Clean up Campaign
There was massive turn-out from the Kariobangi Waste Management Alliance and I must salute their Chairman Mr. Emmanuel, and the entire Team for such enthusiasm. The Alliance, supported by the World Vision Kenya under the Soweto Integrated Programme Area is composed of the following Teams;
The Kariobangi North Constituency IEBC Elections Coordinator Ms Grace Ronoh in action with the Team
The Peace Caravan went upto Kariobangi Market and into the Kariobangi Police Station where we met Police Officers who joined with us in cleaning the Station, and then to the Kariobangi Social Hall where we were addressed by the Chair Kariobangi Waste Management Alliance- Mr. Emmanuel, the Assistant Divisional Environment Officer City Council of Nairobi- Ms Cecilia Mukiwa, and she was ably assisted by Mr. Felix Luvutse, the Programmes Manager World Vision Kenya Ms Martha Nadupoi, who was accompanied by Mr. Dennis Sabila, and finally the DO Kariobangi South Mr. Charles Mabonga- he was our Chief Guest.
All the speeches were focused on keeping our Country Clean and moreso, engaging in Clean and Peaceful Campaigns- both at the Nomination Stages and at the actual Elections on 4th March 2013.
