Thereafter, we joined with the Fountain Youth Initiative in the biggest Clean-up Campaign at Githurai. This was attended by several Groups from around Githurai.
On behalf of The Clean Kenya Campaign Team, we want to appreciate all the Teams, Groups and People who helped make some difference today. A Clean Kenya starts with such individual steps.

Today was a good setting for the hosting of The 2nd Consultative Forum on Waste Management which we are hosting at the KICC on the 28th August 2012 from 8.00am. All the Teams who have indicated their willingness to attend are requested to have registered themselves by 8.00am. Our Team will be set at KICC as from 7.20am to help with the necessary logistics.
Mr. Sungu giving a talk during the Awareness, Peace Building and Good Governance Forum after the Githurai Clean-up Campaign this morning.
We are going to engage and come up with Practical Steps that we must all take to start the process of Separation of Waste at Source and deliver Kenya as a Clean State.
We want to thank the Public Service Transformation at the Office of the Prime Minister, A Better World/SOF-DI, Mugumo Communications Ltd, Akiba Uhaki Foundation and the various Friends of TCKC through The CIA Club at the TCKC for their continued support. We also want to thank the National Environment Management Authority for their Technical Support to the Campaign. And lastly, we want to thank all Teams that have been supportive to this Campaign. We value all that you have done for us- visit Support to KCDN in 2011 and see the entire list.
We have posted all the Event Photos on our Facebook Pages; Monthly Nationwide Clean-up Campaign and Odhiambo T Oketch
