Friends,
First, we want to condole with the Families of our Brothers and Sisters in Tana River, Mandera, Garissa and Asumbi, following the tragic deaths of their beloved. We also want to condole with the Families of the late Hon Martin Joseph Shikuku and Mrs Josephine Michuki. We are all in this as a Nation.
Secondly, as we approach The D-Day for The 2nd Consultative Forum on Waste Management on the 28th August 2012 at the KICC, we will be having several Clean-up Activities across Kenya this Saturday- the 25th August.
There will be a Clean up Campaign at Migosi in Kisumu, Githurai and Kayole in Nairobi and several other places. The Kisumu event has been organized by Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development, while the Githurai event is being organized by the Fountain Youth Initiative. The Kayole Clean-up is being organized by the Divine Word Parish- Kayole Catholic Church and it will start at 9.00am.
We want to thank all these Partners in The Clean Kenya Campaign. You are keeping the fire burning.
